Provoking The Most High

How does one make fun of God? It is quite simple, actually. It comes in many different forms, but at its root, it attacks the very principles outlined in the Bible. It began with Lucifer when he thought he could be as God. The result of this prideful endeavor took a third of the angels with him and all were cast out of Heaven. Since that day,

The Bible has a lot to say about what provokes God. A few examples of such provocation can be seen in:

We see that anything that goes against God’s will, or makes fun of His nature, provokes His anger. These are just a few verses outlining what God is against. In them, you can see what goes against God’s will, and illustrating the consequences of turning away from His commandments. In Psalm 106:28-29, we see that the people sacrificed to Baalpeor, a chilling example of how easily a society can be led astray. Just who was this “god”? He was known as Baal of Peor and was a Moabite idol, a variant of the Canaanite god named Baal, worshipped on Mount Peor through rituals laden with immorality and idolatry. This worship revolved around sexual immorality and extreme forms of idolatry, which serve as reminders of the dangers of deviating from true faith. With the trans movement and the alphabet group, we see a modern manifestation of this ancient practice, as societal norms shift towards accepting and even glorifying behaviors that sideline God’s teachings. Granted, those involved may not believe they are serving another god, but in their actions, they are indeed placing something above the divine authority of God, thus becoming unwitting participants in a cycle of rebellion. In so doing, they are bringing judgment upon themselves, facing spiritual consequences that can ripple through our communities. Furthermore, the abortion industry is booming, despite the Supreme Court’s ruling, as many turn a blind eye to the sanctity of life. They are shedding innocent blood and bringing judgment not only upon themselves but also on our great nation, eroding the moral fabric that has historically united us. It is vital for us to reflect on these truths, to stand firm in our convictions, and to advocate for a return to the principles that honor God’s will.

Lastly, as believers we are watching our land turning against Israel, a situation that is as distressing as it is alarming. Anti-Semitism is on the rise, not only here in the U.S. but all over the world, manifesting in various forms from rhetoric to violent actions. How can we possibly be returning to the ideology of the 1930’s and 1940’s, one of the darkest periods in history that saw immense suffering? Did this world not learn anything from the past? Our President is changing his stand as it relates to the land that rightfully belongs to Israel, which could bring judgment upon our nation and lead to severe consequences for our moral compass. The only explanation for this overall shift against Israel is that we are living in the end times and that the devil knows his time is short. As we witness these events unfold, it’s vital for believers to remain vigilant, to stand firm in solidarity with Israel, and to pray for peace and restoration, knowing that the battle is a spiritual one.

If you “happened” onto this website and you feel God tugging at your heart, please follow this link and read what the Bible says about salvation. Our time here is short, and soon, possibly today, born-again Christians will be taken from this earth, ushering in a new era that many refer to as the Rapture. A time spoken of in Scripture as the seven-year Tribulation will come upon the earth, a period marked by unprecedented challenges and turmoil. You do not want to be part of it, as it is going to be the most horrible time ever recorded in human history, filled with suffering and despair beyond our comprehension. Please, take this post seriously and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, who offers hope and redemption in these troubling times. Only He can save you and provide the peace that surpasses all understanding, guiding you through life’s trials and into eternal life. Don’t hesitate; seek Him today, for tomorrow may be too late!

God’s Hate List

Pro 6:16-19  These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:  (17)  A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,  (18)  An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,  (19)  A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

I was listening to a message by Chuck Missler on the topic of the seven things God hates. People are always talking about God’s love but not about the things He hates. God is not only a God of love, but also of judgment. Today’s church focuses mainly on God’s love but the preachers fail to teach on His judgment. That is one of the reasons why we don’t see much repentance.

I want to focus on one of the things God hates, and that is the shedding of innocent blood. We must first determine what that means. All answers to man’s questions can be found in the Scriptures!

The verses below reveal what is considered to be “life.”

Lev 17:11a  For the life of the flesh is in the blood:

Lev 17:14a  For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof:

The heart of man is what pumps blood to the entire body. It is at this spot that life begins and ends. When the heart begins to pump blood, there is life. When the heart ceases to pump blood, there is no life. A fetus’s heart begins to pump blood around three weeks after fertilization. Therefore, it does not take a doctor to teach a Christian that at this stage the fetus is a living human being. The Bible answers this for us. The world does not believe this, however. They see a clump of cells: anything to remove the guilt of abortion. But God says differently.

Deu 19:10  That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

Psa 106:38  And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

Isa 59:7  Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.

Innocent blood refers to someone who is not able to defend himself enough to be judged innocent. This includes a baby inside the womb. The devil has succeeded in convincing the world that if you look at an unborn baby as a clump of cells, you are not killing. Furthermore, if you can kill an unborn baby at any time, you do not have to be held accountable for having sex outside of marriage.

2 Kings 17:17  And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

This verse may be in the Old Testament, but it is one of the things which God hates. God never changes and what He hated in the Old Testament, He hates still!

Mal 3:6  For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

God will judge those who passed their children through the fire of Molech (or Moloch). Do you notice anything about this image? The same evil plot formed by Satan is alive and well today. Granted, people aren’t throwing their children into a fire because they would have to throw in the mother as well. But evil-minded men have managed to devise a method of removing a precious life from the mother’s womb and killing it. The end result is the same as it was in the time of sacrifices to Molech!

(Lev 18:21)  And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

(Lev 20:2)  Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

(Lev 20:3)  And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

(Lev 20:4)  And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

(Lev 20:5)  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

(2Ki 23:10)  And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.

(Jer 32:35)  And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

All sin can be forgiven, even abortion. But friend, if you have read through this devotional up to this point, then you were meant to read it. But if you disregard the warnings, the devil will convince your mind to call this rubbish. Once you reach that point of no return, there is no hope for you. Don’t reach that point! Confess your sin and repent. Come to the Lord Jesus who provides peace. Click on this link and read how you, too, can be born again and forgiven of all of your sins! I am praying for anyone who has had an abortion to read through this post and receive forgiveness!
