Light in the Last Days – Day 40

Imagine a world where King Jesus sits upon His throne in Jerusalem, reigning in perfect peace throughout the Millennium. It is a glorious vision of a restored earth, yet it is only the beginning of what God has in store. Once the final judgment is complete and the unsaved are cast into the Lake of Fire, a breathtaking transformation occurs: Jesus will create a brand-new Heaven and a new earth! The sheer excitement of this promise—a reality where sin is gone and everything is made new—is almost beyond human comprehension.

In my previous post, we looked at the horrible reality of the second death. Now, we turn to a far brighter horizon: the creation of the new Heaven and the new earth. In this new beginning, sin and unbelief will be things of the past, as God makes all things perfect and new. At the heart of this creation will be the New Jerusalem, which is a holy city where only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life may enter to dwell in His light forever.

If you have accepted Christ as your Saviour, words cannot describe the magnificence of what awaits you. The transition into the new Heaven and the new earth will be the most glorious moment of your existence. For the born-again believer, every tear will be wiped away, and every sorrow forgotten in the presence of King Jesus! This is the “blessed hope” we cling to, knowing that our names are secure in the Lamb’s Book of Life and that we have an inheritance that will never fade or perish. It will be a day of triumph and everlasting peace.

My dear reader, the most important question you will ever face is this: Will you be present for this glorious renewal, or will you face the judgment we discussed earlier? If you have even a shadow of a doubt about where you stand, I beg you to find certainty today before it is too late. None of us are promised tomorrow. You might be on your routine commute home from work today when the unthinkable happens: a sudden accident that changes everything in an instant. Life is fragile and unpredictable; please, don’t leave your eternal destination to chance.

Friend, it is no coincidence that God has placed you here for such a time as this so that you may be saved if you are not already. Please click here and the link will open up in a separate tab to You Can Be Born Again and Know It!
