Why does a world with more knowledge, more technology, and more ways to connect still seem so restless? We can know what is happening across the globe within seconds, yet all that information often brings more anxiety than peace. We scroll through troubling headlines, uncertain predictions, and endless opinions, hoping that somewhere we will find reassurance that everything is going to be all right. But the world cannot give lasting peace because the world itself is constantly changing.
Jesus spoke of a different kind of peace. He said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.” John 14:27. The peace of Christ is not dependent upon favorable circumstances. It does not disappear when the news is troubling, when plans change, or when tomorrow remains uncertain. It is a peace rooted in the unchanging character of God. That peace is promised when effort is made to connect with the Lord.
Sometimes we think peace will come when our problems are solved. We tell ourselves that if the diagnosis is good, the finances improve, the relationship is restored, or the world finally settles down, then we will be able to rest. But life has a way of reminding us that one concern is often replaced by another. If our peace depends upon everything around us being calm, we may spend our entire lives waiting for peace to arrive.
The believer has been given something far greater. We can come into the presence of God with every burden, every fear, and every unanswered question. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3. Notice that the promise is not that we will understand everything. It is that our minds can be stayed upon Him. Peace begins when we stop trying to carry tomorrow and place ourselves in the hands of the One who is already there. Peace begins when we enter the Throne room and fellowship with our Father.
Today, the world may still be restless. The headlines may still be troubling, and you may have circumstances in your own life that have not yet changed. But the Prince of Peace has not changed. You do not have to wait for a perfect tomorrow to experience His peace today. Bring Him what is troubling your heart, fix your thoughts upon Him, and rest in His promises. The world may offer temporary comfort, but the peace that Jesus gives reaches deeper than anything this world can take away.
Psalm 61:2: “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Life has a way of feeling like a vast, winding valley. In the middle of it, the beauty of the landscape can quickly be overshadowed by the sheer vastness of the mountains ahead. There are moments when the path feels too steep, the baggage too heavy, and our own strength far too small.
When David wrote this Psalm, he wasn’t just enjoying a view; he was crying out from a place of emotional exhaustion. He used the word overwhelmed, which in Hebrew suggests a heart that is “faint” or “wrapped in darkness.” He felt small compared to the size of his struggles.
‛âṭaph aw-taf’ A primitive root; to shroud, that is, clothe (whether transitively or reflexively); hence (from the idea of darkness) to languish: – cover (over), fail, faint, feebler, hide self, be overwhelmed, swoon.
But notice his response:
He acknowledges his location: “From the end of the earth.” No matter how far you feel from peace or from God, you are never out of God’s earshot.
He lifts his gaze: Instead of focusing on his circumstances, he looks up. He recognizes that he needs something more stable and bigger than himself.
He asks for guidance: “Lead me.” He doesn’t try to climb the mountain alone. He asks the Creator of those very peaks to take him by the hand.
The “Rock” represents Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4), a foundation that doesn’t shift when the storms blow through the valley. When your heart feels crowded by worry and anxiety, remember that there is a higher vantage point. God doesn’t always remove the mountain, but He promises to lead you to a place that is higher and greater than your problems.
Reflect: What is one “mountain” in your life today that feels too big? Can you take a moment to stop climbing and simply ask the Lord to lead you to His higher ground? Consider reading these verses for further encouragement:

A heart that is at peace with God through salvation in Jesus Christ does not need to fear judgment because Christ took upon Himself that judgment, bearing the weight of our sins so that we might receive mercy and grace. This awesome sacrifice allows us to experience a deep, abiding confidence in our relationship with God, knowing that our sins are no longer held against us. Instead, we are embraced with open arms, freed from the shackles of guilt and shame, and can walk boldly in God’s love. As we trust in His redemptive plan, we find strength in our faith, which allows us to live righteously and share the hope of the gospel with others, so they too may understand the incredible peace that comes from being reconciled to God.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
When there is no condemnation, one does not live in fear of what will happen when he dies. He can live his life freely and peacefully, embracing every moment with hope and joy, knowing that Christ’s work on the cross is complete with nothing else that needs to be done. This assurance allows individuals to walk through life’s challenges with confidence, firmly grounded in the knowledge of their salvation. When Jesus said “It is finished,” (John 19:30) He had completed His mission given to Him by the Father in Heaven: to shed His blood on the cross so we could have forgiveness of our sins, giving us a path to eternal life. This awesome act of love and sacrifice removes the weight of guilt and the burden of striving for perfection, enabling believers to pursue a relationship with God that is based on grace rather than fear. In this light, life becomes a journey of gratitude and reverence, always thoughtful of the immense gift granted through His ultimate sacrifice.
Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Without the shedding of Christ’s blood, there could be no forgiveness, and humanity would remain trapped in a cycle of sin and despair. We would be doomed to Hell because of our sin, with no hope of redemption or reconciliation with God. But praise the Lord that Jesus took our punishment upon Himself, bearing the weight of our sins, so that when we believe in Him and accept His sacrifice, we are offered the incredible gift of eternal life. This profound act of love not only ensures our forgiveness but also transforms our lives, providing us with peace, hope, and a purpose far beyond ourselves, as we walk with Him in faith and share His message of salvation with a world in need.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Knowing this brings great peace, as it reassures the believer of their standing, and the believer no longer needs to fear judgment! Instead, they can rest assured of their security and be comforted; understanding that their faith provides a pathway to grace and redemption. This awareness alleviates any anxiety about the uncertainties of the future.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Born-again Christians can confidently go through life living for the Lord because they know they no longer have to fear what will come when they die; this blessed assurance empowers them to live life’s challenges with hope and purpose. As they embrace their new identity in Christ, they find strength and courage to face life’s uncertainties and challenges.
1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Fear grips each and every one of us at some point in our lives. It is inevitable and can be overwhelming, often creeping in during moments of weakness. That fear, however, only rears its ugly head because we do not know the outcome of what lies ahead. But Someone does! When you are in a relationship with the Almighty, you can rest assured that He knows the outcome because He transcends time and space. He doesn’t have a beginning or an end; He exists beyond our finite view of existence. Therefore, He can see what will come of your fearful situation. This divine foresight provides a sense of comfort, reminding us that we are never truly alone in our struggles. We can lean on His wisdom and trust that whatever happens, there is a purpose to our experiences, even the challenging ones. In times of distress, it is vitally important to remember that His presence can be a guiding light shining in those shadows of fear, leading us to hope and assurance.

Since He knows how your situation is going to end, and He only wants what is best for you, you can rest assured that you have no reason to fear. The enemy wants you to fear, as fear can cloud your judgment and lead you away from the truth. He doesn’t want you to seek the Lord because he wants to keep you deep in fear, trapping you in a cycle of doubt and anxiety that prevents you from experiencing the true peace that God can give. The devil desires you to attempt to find peace in anything but the Lord, directing your attention towards deceivingly false security. He will even provide temporary peace, luring you into a false sense of comfort, but it will never be complete peace. Only God can provide that! In His presence, you will find a peace that goes beyond your understanding, a peace that not only calms your heart but also strengthens your spirit, allowing you to face those challenges that come your way with unwavering faith and confidence.
If you are born again, you can easily find complete peace by reading your Bible and trusting God to open your eyes to verses that you need for the moment. If you are not born again, you won’t be able to find true peace … no matter what direction you take, you won’t find it. What is worry? By definition, Noah Webster has the best:
To tease; to trouble; to harass with importunity, or with care and anxiety. Persons are often worried with care and solicitude.
When one worries, one allows circumstances, whether present or future, to overpower one’s thinking. Mr. Webster hits the nail on the head when he uses the words “harass with importunity.” Worry presents itself as a pressing or urgent demand on one’s thinking. The Lord does not want His followers to worry. No! He wants us to rest in Him, find peace in Him, and allow Him to lead us.
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
If you don’t take care of your frame of mind, your thinking, the devil will most certainly get into your thoughts and cause worry. If there’s any way the enemy can remove your thoughts from centering on the Lord your God, he will do it! The Apostle Peter gave us an encouraging verse in 1 Peter 5:7, but read the next verse!
1 Peter 5:7-8 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
If the devil can sway you into thinking about things that are truly out of your control, he has succeeded in devouring your thoughts! He has succeeded in removing Christ from the center of your heart! Don’t let him succeed!

But how does one do that? Read the Word, listen to godly music, praise Him while you wait on His replies, praise Him in all things – good or bad! Paul’s words to the Philippians are spot on! He gives us clear directions:
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
If your thoughts are consumed with godly things, there will be no room for worry. If you feel worry setting in, think on these things! Praise the Lord in your storm of worry; thank Him for the things that are causing worry because it is through giving Him these worries that you learn to trust in Him.

Good morning, Reader! Today’s topic is the result of personal growth in my life. There was a time that I worried about everything. At salvation, that was the first thing the Lord took away from my life. It helped me to trust in Him early on and to develop dependence on Him and Him alone. But what if a believer has not been rid of this? The Apostle Paul gives us clear instruction in the verse above: prayer and thanksgiving. Is it any wonder why believers struggle with anxiety? Prayer must be a daily (if not more) occurrence, Reader. It teaches us to turn to the Father in everything. It teaches us to share our anxieties with Him and lay them at His feet to take care of for you. Prayer teaches us to submit to the Father’s will for our lives.
What things make you anxious? Do you have a rocky marriage? Do you struggle with the war in the Middle East? Is your income less than your purchases? So many things can lead a person to feel anxious and uncertain about the future. We will be seeing the repercussions of Satan’s efforts to rule this world more and more as the end of days approaches. The Rapture could happen at any time! But until it does, we will see the hearts of men grow colder and more wicked. Jesus teaches us in:
Luke 6:22-23 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. (23) Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
Christian, we are currently seeing God’s chosen people brutalized in Israel. In fact, antisemitism has increased exponentially and is occurring in our own country. How very sad that Christians aren’t creating more of a stink and speaking up against it! Your silence is interpreted as agreement with those who hate the Jewish people. We cannot and should not be silent. As we speak up against the enemy’s hatred of the Jews, we can be sure to fall under persecution ourselves. But according to Jesus, we are to rejoice and leap for joy for our reward is great in Heaven!

Technology has grown by leaps and bounds in the 21st Century. What was considered “space age” technology made for the movies and TV have now become state-of-the-art and implemented into our society. So what’s the next step? Where will we be in ten years from now? Klaus Schwab, head of the World Economic Forum (WEF), tells us where we’ll be.
“We are at the beginning, when you look at it, at technology transformation, it usually takes place in the terms of an S-curve. And we are just now where we move into the exponential phase. And I agree, artificial intelligence, but not only artificial intelligence, but also the metaverse, new space technologies, and I could go on and on, synthetic biology. Our life in 10 years from now will be completely different, very much affected, and who masters those technologies, in some way, will be the master of the world.”—Klaus Schwab.
So where does the Christian fit into all of this? Do we succumb to worldly phenomenon? Do we buy into the latest and greatest? Where do we stop following after the world and reject what they are pushing? When does the Church take a stand for what is the truth?

Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
The Bible promises believers that when we trust in the Lord, He will direct our paths. His Holy Spirit will tell us what to do when times of uncertainty arise. Jesus told us that He is the light of the world and we WILL NOT walk in darkness. We will have the truth revealed to us in all things. God does not want His child to walk in confusion.

Have that peace in the midst of the storm, just as Peter did when he got off the boat to walk on the water toward Jesus. He wavered because he took his eyes off Jesus. May we not waver by looking at the circumstances all around us. Let us look to Jesus and hold fast to that peace as we walk in His light through His Word!

Rev 13:16-17 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: (17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
These are the buzz words today amongst Christian circles. When Covid hit, we were being told, “Don’t take the mark of the beast.” Friend, the mark of the beast won’t happen until after the Rapture! The biggest issue at hand is if you are a born-again child of God. If not, then you have everything to be worried about. But if you are saved, this event won’t be part of your life. The Apostle Paul taught the Thessalonians extremely well on this subject. Just read below:
1 Thess 5:1-11 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. (2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
(4) But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (5) Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. (6) Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. (7) For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. (8) But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
(9) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, [The word salvation here means preservation of destruction, danger or great calamity.] (10) Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. (11) Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
So as believers, we must warn the world of what is going to happen according to the Scriptures. This is the purpose of this post. Pay attention, reader! We are not fast approaching the end times, we are there!
The Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is not the mark of the beast. However, it is a bridge that will lead to the mark of the Antichrist, reader! We cannot be ignorant of what is to come. The Bible teaches us what to expect and we are to keep our eyes fully opened to recognize such prophecies being fulfilled right before our very eyes. Friend, we are in the end times, of that there is no doubt.
Notice what is being said about this topic of CBDCs:

Now, if you happen to be some kind of critic of government policy or a critic of central banks this could be difficult. Or if you dare to step out of the 15-minute city zone, you know, maybe you’ll find that: ‘Oh [my CBDC is] not working’. Of course, these are things we’ve seen already in China. There’s plenty of videos where somebody tries to use it to buy a ticket and it doesn’t work because his social credit scores are low.” And, effectively, there’s no real right to appeal. With very few people controlling the very many, the controllers will use computers and algorithms to run the system. If you appeal the blocking of CDBCs you’ll be dealing with automated responses.
And if that’s not enough, European news are also covering this:
“You will get 2,000 Euros into your account every month. But of course, to run this efficiently [they’ll say:] ‘We need to use the latest technology so you need the CBDC chip implant’.”
This scene in Satan’s “play” has been set; the hour is at hand. It is not sometime in the future but actually occurring at this very moment. China has a version of this called the Social Credit System. A simple Google search will explain it further. If your social credit “score” is below standards, you won’t be free to participate in certain things, both business and private sector. It’s another way to control the public.
Be prepared and be in the Word of God. The Bible brings peace and comfort during times like these.

Good morning, Reader! Today’s verse may lead you to wonder what this has to do with comfort. But just bear with me a bit and I’ll wrap it all up for you! 😊 There are days that I can repeatedly proclaim God’s goodness to me. There are so many ways God shows His love. He provides for every need imaginable. We should be grateful and tell Him so. I start out my prayer time with this. I acknowledge everything the Lord has done for me. Being thankful and acknowledging it to God strengthens our resolve for what’s in store for the day.
Watching the news or reading your news feed, however, doesn’t exactly give you a thankful heart for what is in store for this world.
In fact, when you dwell on the negatives and become fearful, you empty your heart of the thankfulness that you started your day with!
This is one of the greatest mistakes Christians make. They start their day with the Lord, pray and do their devotions. Their heart is encouraged and they feel they can conquer the world. But as the day wears on, the cares of this world weigh on them and they lose the joy they had when they left the house! They are no different than today’s verse in Psalms!
Psa 78:32 For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.
Even after God provided manna, water and quail (and let’s not forget that He parted the Red Sea), the people still grumbled and complained!! They didn’t remember his wondrous works and were not grateful for what He had done for them. Friend, it won’t be any different in these end times. In fact it will be much worse!
If your thankfulness is minimal Reader, you will be even less as the days get more evil.
My series on the end times, the Rapture, and the Tribulation will put things into perspective for you. The antichrist and his one-world government will make the Holocaust seem like child’s play. God will be dealing with Israel during the Tribulation just as He did in the Old Testament; God’s desire is always to draw them back to Himself. The Old Testament is filled with Israel turning their backs on God, God punishing their unbelief, and Israel turning back to God. It’s a vicious cycle, repeating over and over. (Psalm 78:35)
Oh how patient and full of grace is our Lord!
Yet Israel was still hard of heart and was not “stedfast in his covenant”! (Psalm 78:37) God held back His judgment because He of that compassion and He remembered that they were frail. (Psalm 78:39-40)
It’s really not any different today, is it? Are you the fearful Christian or are you the Christian who has peace? I’m not only talking about end time events but I’m also referring to one’s day-to-day life. Do you have health issues? How are you handling those issues as a believer? Are you afraid of how serious your health will get? Are you fretting over it? God has promised us peace so any time you feel turmoil in your heart, you need to stop and seek God’s face. (John 14:27) It is no different if you have other issues, like financial problems. The Lord knows you have those problems and He will help you if you will only trust Him.
Don’t forget what you prayed about this morning when you thanked the Lord for your blessings! Don’t be one of those who forgets once you walk out the door; let praise be on your lips throughout the day. Remind yourself of those blessings, especially when bad news comes across your eyes and ears! There is always something to be thankful for, don’t you think? If you woke up this morning, that’s something to be thankful for. If you can’t think of one solitary thing to be thankful for that happened just yesterday, then thank Him for your salvation!
Sometimes we need a little coaxing to get our hearts renewed throughout the day. The hymn, How Great Thou Art will put you into the right spirit:
Oh Lord, my God When I, in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art
And when I think that God, His Son not sparing Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin
The world is watching how you handle your fears. Our job is to be a light to this lost and dying world. We need to give them hope as we have hope! If your coworker sees you in turmoil, he or she won’t want “what you have” because they can’t see the Lord’s peace in your life.
Friend, don’t be willfully ignorant of the end times. (2 Peter 3:5) If you are not born-again, confess your sins and repent of them. The time is coming when it will be too late for you to repent. You will remember each opportunity you were given by God to be saved; you will remember each time you laughed it off and ignored it. Please Reader, repent and accept Christ into your life. (Act 16:31, Rom 10:9) I want to be sure that anyone who reads the posts on this blog can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are going to Heaven. Have you received Christ as your Saviour? If no, your sins are not covered by His sacrificial offering of Himself. You have not been redeemed by His blood. Good morning, Reader! What is pressing upon your heart this morning and frightening you? Is it the latest news on the war in the Ukraine? Is it the fact that America will suffer a food shortage in the next few months due to all the flooding in California? Or is it certain circumstances in your life? Whatever the reason may be, you must realize that God is well aware of it. Do you think God wants His child to be losing sleep over his financial problems or family issues? Friend, you are not alone. There are many who stay up worrying about what tomorrow will hold.
The key is to remember Who holds tomorrow!
These end times will bring turmoil on this earth that the world has never seen in the past. (Matthew 24:21) So what exactly does God’s Word say about worry and anxiety? Today’s verse says that the Lord is a God of knowledge and by him actions are weighed. If you want to learn to do something, you read an instruction manual or watch a YouTube video. Afterwards, it just takes practice until you get it right. Reading God’s Word is one thing but it’s what you do with what you read that is important. If you walk away and do nothing with what you have read, then you haven’t really gained anything, have you?
Psa 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Don’t you think Satan wants you to be side tracked with worry? Oh YES, he does!
God says that His children need not be anxious about what’s going on in their lives. Whatever is making you anxious or worried can be discussed with God just as you would discuss a problem with your spouse or friend. God is not some impersonal being that lords over His creation. Not at all! In my mind’s eye, I picture God sitting in a chair next to me. I feel his presence and know that He hears me. Years of reading God’s Word has given me the foundation to stand on in my Christian faith and His Word leads and directs me in my life. It truly is a light unto my path.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
The word careful in this verse is merimnaō in the Greek which means “anxious, take thought”! If a person doesn’t “take thought” or get anxious about what’s going on in his life, don’t you think that speaks volumes about how big his God is? Think about it for a moment and apply it to your life … right now … this very moment. What’s troubling you? Did you let God know about it during your prayer time? When you talk to God about it, you should know that the same God who parted the Red Sea is desiring you to talk to Him about it? He wants to handle that situation in your life! You may not see immediate answer to prayer but He is still working. He’s not asleep on the job! (Psalm 121:4)
I apply this to the goings on with the news revolving around the end times and the turmoil that our world is in. When I was first saved, I would have never thought that people would be confused about their gender! I would have never thought that babies would be murdered at the altar of convenience. Certain things were actually sacred back then!

A born-again believer is a member of the Church, the Bride of Christ, and will be raptured before that awful seven-year period occurs!
1 Corinthians 15:50-52 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Matthew 24:39-42 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (40) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (41) Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (42) Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Friend, please, I beg you, if you are not saved, you will have to go through a period that NO ONE has EVER seen before! Don’t ignore the fear in your heart and settle the matter now before it’s too late.
Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
If you are a believer, release your fears to the Lord and share those fears with Him. He does not want you to be fearful of these end times. In fact, we should be looking up and excited that our Groom will receive the go ahead from the Father to come get His Bride!!! \o/ He does not want you to be fearful of anything in your life. You are a part of His Bride so just as you share your intimate feelings with God. He will listen because you are praying in the Lord Jesus’ name! God desires to give you peace, my friend.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Times are getting worse and Christians may have to go through worse times before the Rapture. But rest assured that we won’t be here for the worst of what’s to come during the Tribulation period. Baby Christians are looking to you as an example of how they are to act during these horrible times. The unsaved world is watching you. If they see a fretting Christian, what does that tell them? They won’t want what you have if it doesn’t solve their problems. Only Christ can solve their problems. Be a light … be a testimony for the Lord … be the only Bible they may ever see!
As believers, we have so much at our fingertips to pull from for encouragement. We can read our Bibles, search out songs to encourage our hearts, and bow before the Lord of lords and Kings of kings in prayer! We can have intimate fellowship with the Creator of the universe!! But to the person who is not born-again, he has only himself to turn to and there’s no comfort in one’s own heart. The unbeliever doesn’t have the comfort that the believer does; they may be able to access the resources but that comfort just isn’t there. Friend, don’t be willfully ignorant of the end times.
